Discussion on the “Veraz v. Open Discovery” ruling: Intellectual property and trademarks in digital environments

On June 5, 2025, we took part in a discussion hosted by the University of Palermo (UP) focused on the protection of trademarks on the internet.

The event featured Professor Gonzalo M. Nazar de la Vega, Director of the University’s Institute for the Economic Analysis of Law, as well as Dr. Claudio Iglesias Darriba, who shared insights based on his experience in the European Union. The session was moderated by Agustín Rizzo, attorney, Master in Law and Economics (UTDT), and registered Industrial Property agent.
