Innovations in intellectual property: The importance of branding

On 8 October 2024, we participated in the event “Trade Marks that can Become Brands” organised by the Universidad de Palermo. The event featured a lecture by international consultant Giulio C. Zanetti and included Dr. Gonzalo Nazar de la Vega, the deputy director of the UP Institute for Law and Economics.

Giulio Zanetti is a distinguished lawyer who currently serves as an international consultant for various global organisations, including the World Bank, WIPO, UNODC, IDLO, and EPLO, among others. Furthermore, Mr. Zanetti is a visiting professor in the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law in Turin, a programme jointly organised by WIPO and the University of Turin.
